My key takeaways from the program is that consistency is key, you don't have to starve yourself to lose weight, everything in moderation. I honestly can't recommend Breda enough. Her professionalism and knowledge are like no other. The time and effort she puts into the training and nutrition plans is amazing, tailoring everything to suit your lifestyle and level. She gives 100% to all her clients, keeping you motivated & checking in every week via zoom and also just a message away if you need anything between times, nothing is a bother to her! I knew if it was going to be anything like training with Breda in the gym it would be so good! Up until October, 2019, I was pretty active, doing a range of weekly classes and running regularly. This all came to an abrupt stop when I injured my shoulder and had to take 5 months off. I found the gym to be un-motivating, and I was constantly aware and afraid of my injuries in fitness classes afterwards. For me, this was debilitating because I felt like I couldn't.

After speaking to Breda on social media and getting a feel for how her process of personal training, I decided to try it and I haven't looked back since. Every session is different, and completely tailored to not only my injury, but my fitness level. She is extremely knowledgeable on form and is so supportive and motivational. The sessions are as tough as they are great craic, she puts you at ease straight away and encourages you to do better. I stopped thinking about my injury and began to enjoy working out again. I would recommend Breda's personal training to anyone as I've benefited immensely from them. As a busy mammy of two I find my time is taken up quite easily. After I had my first son I met with Breda to discuss what type of training plan I wanted, Breda talked me through all the different options I had and she made sure to tailor everything to my specific needs. She helped me understand what type of exercises would benefit the results I was hoping to achieve. She was extremely flexible when it came to me organising times with her as being of mammy of two means my time is no longer my own. I did six weeks one on one training with Breda and I was extremely pleased with my results. After the first session I found my confidence had boosted massively, Breda was continuously supporting me and giving me all the encouragement I needed. Not only did I do the training with Breda but she also done me a meal plan to help me with my diet. I loved working out with Breda! After graduating college I realized I had gotten out of shape and wanted to get back into exercising regularly. I’m a person who wouldn’t be a big fan of gyms and I have had previous experience where my injuries where ignored when carrying out exercises by class instructors. I was apprehensive about getting back into a gym. When going to Breda for PT sessions and class sessions I can honestly say she listens to everyone in the group, she is genuinely clued into everyone’s abilities and limitations and constructs a class/ exercise routine to suit everyone’s needs. She goes through every exercise with a fine tooth comb to insure there is no possibility of further injury. Not just that but she has a very positive outlook that radiates through on all participants in the class. She is very motivational and I would really recommend her to anyone as I really enjoyed the workouts and felt a lot better for doing them.

Balancing a busy family life, work & exercise!
After having two consecutive pregnancies within very close timing of one another, balancing a very busy family life with two young babies & work commitments, I opted to challenge myself in returning to exercise. I contacted Breda for inspiration & she offered me professional advice in relation to feeling body, mind & fitness ready before committing to her exercise plan. Breda advised me to wait until I was physically ready & prepared to challenge my fitness before returning in case of injury. I thought this was very sound advice & after contacting her when I was ready, she provided me with a very manageable exercise workout plan that suited my busy schedule. Breda was very aware of the post maternal repair that I wanted to focus on & adapted a very suitable yet challenging plan to focus on rebuilding core muscle & regaining fitness/cardio to my level of fitness (as well as weight loss). Each week Breda was very understanding to adapt her schedule to suit my time management needs & with regard to my workout plan by Week 3 I could certainly feel my cardio level improve as well as core exercises getting more manageable yet maintaining the challenge to improve. I met Breda a year after my mom passed away when I was 22 years old and needed a push towards a healthy direction in my life. She became my trainer in Los Angeles and she just exuded positive vibes! Many people forget the importance of having a strong circle of support when it comes to the fitness industry. A personal trainer can sometimes be the vital missing piece in your fitness journey.
